We should be taking what we are learning and putting it to work in our homes.

The home has a divine order to function, just as the church. The home has an earthly father, mother and then the children.

The way todays family operates and the way God intended the family to operate is night and day. Through TV shows, and other media, men are made out to be incapable of running the affairs of themselves let alone the affairs of the family.

The order God set for the family is in every way just as important as the order God set for the church.

If this being the case, how did the women’s rights movement begin. The war started and the women went to build the war machines. At the conclusion of the war, the women decided they wanted to remain with their newly acquired occupation. Until the time of the war, there was very little room in the workforce for women. Prior to this time, the women’s workforce was in their homes.

In today’s world, being a stay at home mother and wife looks like a very boring job. It comes down to Greed. The more we make the more we can have. This Greed has taken the family away from Gods structure for the family.

Equal Rights

God took the rib out of man and created woman. That should be enough said but we will investigate this matter further.

Scientifically the human brain is divided into two halves. One side controls emotion, the other side controls logical reasoning. Once again, this is scientifically proven. Its also scientifically proven men function out of the side that controls the reasoning and women function out of the emotional side.

Important decisions need to be measured out, not made out of an emotional reaction. Because of this, women often receive from the spirit a lot quicker.

This is not about putting people in their place. This is about using the bible to guide the church and our lives in Gods order. God knows what He is doing.

Pro 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price far above rubies.

Pro 31:11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

Pro 31:12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Pro 31:13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

Pro 31:14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

Pro 31:15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

Pro 31:16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

Pro 31:17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

Pro 31:18 she perceiveth that her good: her candle goeth not out by night.

Pro 31:19 she layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

Pro 31:20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

Pro 31:21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household clothed with scarlet.

Pro 31:22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing silk and purple.

Pro 31:23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

Pro 31:24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

Pro 31:25 Strength and her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

Pro 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue the law of kindness.

Pro 31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Pro 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Pro 31:29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

Pro 31:30 Favour deceitful, and beauty vain: a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

Pro 31:31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

We can see from these scriptures what God intends every woman to be.

The wife is to be the one who takes care of the home, the garden and anything that pertains to the home. This type of a woman according to the scriptures is more than the price of rubies, or in our terms, “priceless.”

Verse 12: They are going to do their husbands good and not evil in all the days of her life.

The man is the headship of the home and the family. Some men do not want to take their God-appointed position and that is nothing more than pathetic laziness. It is easier to let your wife do everything, make the decisions, discipline the children so they do not have to make any effort at all. These are sub-standard men who would let their wife go make the income for the family so they do not have to do anything at all. Men have a responsibility to be the priest of their homes. We should be praying for wisdom and knowledge as to how to lead our wives and children in the ways of righteousness. Men have to be willing to take the headship role of their household. Women want strength from a man and not indecisiveness. After all, God made them the weaker vessel.

1Pe 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Wives dreaming of their husband taking his rightful place often find it is easier to want it than to go through it. Once the man takes his rightful place, they often do not want to come under his authority as the head of the family.

God does not have to speak to the man and then confirm it with or to the woman. Eve was not in the garden when God spoke to Adam.

Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Eph 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Verse 22: submit in Greek means to obey or come into obedience to. Ephesians was written to born again believers who were hearing and doing God’s word. These are the husbands wives are supposed to submit to.

Verse 23: Christ loved the church so much that he laid his life down for it as we are told in verse 25.

Verse 28: They should love their wives as much as their own bodies.

There has to be a balance. Men have to uphold their end and many do not yet expect their wife to. We are told what to do by the scriptures. It is a two way street.

Verse 33: Paul is telling them not to just make and attempt to but to make sure they actually did it.

Reverence in the Greek dictionary has a very strong meaning. It means to be in awe of, be sore afraid, fear exceedingly.

Over the ages, we have compromised Gods word to fit our own convenience and then passed it down to our children.

There are all types of programs in our nation set to deal with rebellious children with millions of dollars thrown at them. It was never Gods intention for the government to care for the people. The church let this get out of hand generation’s ago, finding it easier to let the government care for the people instead of the church. We compromised Gods word and took the easy way out.

If we had stayed within the guidelines of order and authority within the church, the rebellion at least would have been manageable. The children do not know their place because the parents did not know theirs. In turn, the church did not know their place because the ministry had rebelled from the order God had set for them and they in turn did not know their place.

Getting the family in Gods order will bring some amazing changes. These changes take time just like learning the rest of the word. We must hear first and then be doers.
